Ingredients

  • Turkey bacon (or alternative)
  • Fresh broccoli
  • Fresh cauliflower
  • Raisins
  • Red onion
  • Sunflower seeds
  • Mayonnaise
  • Sour cream
  • Vinegar
  • Sugar

Instructions

  1. In a heavy-bottomed skillet, cook chopped turkey bacon until crispy. Reserve fat if desired.
  2. While cooking, chop broccoli and cauliflower into florets, dice red onion, and crumble cheese.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine all fresh ingredients.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, sugar, and salt until smooth.
  5. If using turkey bacon fat, mix it into the dressing.
  6. Add cooked turkey bacon to the salad bowl and toss gently.
  7. Pour dressing over salad mixture and stir to coat evenly.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.
