  • 1 1/2 lb chicken breast
  • 1 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 12 oz gluten-free farfalle pasta
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp dry shallots
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 12 oz shredded parmesan
  • 1/4 cup pasta water

Instructions

  1. Boil gluten-free farfalle pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a bowl, combine paprika, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pound chicken breasts gently and season both sides with the spice mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; sear chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Cover and cook on medium-low heat for an additional 10–12 minutes until fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  6. Remove chicken and melt butter in the same skillet; add dry shallots, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for one minute.
  7. Stir in gluten-free flour, then slowly add chicken broth and heavy cream while whisking until smooth.
  8. Mix in shredded parmesan cheese until melted; adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if needed.
  9. Toss cooked pasta into the sauce until evenly coated; slice the chicken and place it on top before serving.
