  • 7 ounces dark chocolate melting wafers
  • 5 ounces soft caramels
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream (or whole milk)
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 ounce white chocolate melting wafers
  • confetti sprinkles
  • nonpareil sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by placing candy molds on a stiff baking sheet.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt dark chocolate wafers in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  3. Coat the inside of each mold with melted chocolate, adding a second coat if necessary. Chill for about 10 minutes.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt soft caramels with heavy cream until smooth. Stir in chopped pecans.
  5. Fill the chilled molds with the caramel mixture, leaving space at the top for chocolate.
  6. Cover each egg with remaining melted dark chocolate and chill for another 20 minutes to set.
  7. Carefully unmold eggs and decorate with melted white chocolate and sprinkles as desired.
