- 16 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add sour cream, eggs, and vanilla; mix well. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 40-45 minutes. Chill completely.
- Increase oven temperature to 350°F (175°C). Sift flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in one bowl. In another bowl, combine sugar and oil; then mix in buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, vinegar, and dry ingredients until just combined. Bake in two pans for 25-30 minutes; cool completely on wire racks.
