  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and spray an 8½ x 4½-inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together whole milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Transfer batter to the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few crumbs.
  6. Allow bread to cool for about 10 minutes before brushing melted butter on top.
  7. Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle over the warm bread.
