- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for searing)
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Optionally sear chicken in a skillet with olive oil for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Place seasoned chicken in the crockpot.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, and thyme; pour over the chicken.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, mix cornstarch with water and stir into the crockpot to thicken gravy.
- Shred or keep chicken whole as desired; serve hot garnished with parsley.
