Ingredients

  • 1 pound bean sprouts
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 1 stalk green onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (finely minced)
  • 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds (crushed)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Boil water with salt in a large pot.
  2. Add rinsed bean sprouts and cook for 1-2 minutes until tender.
  3. Strain the sprouts and pat dry.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped green onion, minced garlic, soy sauce, sugar, salt, toasted sesame seeds, and sesame oil; mix well.
  5. Add the strained bean sprouts to the mixture and gently coat them with the dressing.
  6. Serve chilled.
