Ingredients

  • Lemon Verbena Syrup: 1 oz (30 ml)
  • Fresh Lemon Juice: ½ oz (15 ml)
  • Sparkling Non-Alcoholic Grape Juice or Sparkling Water: 3 oz (90 ml)
  • Soda Water: 1 oz (30 ml)
  • Fresh Lemon Verbena Leaves: 3 to 4
  • Ice Cubes: As needed
  • Lemon Slice: For garnish

Instructions

  1. To prepare the lemon verbena syrup, combine equal parts water and sugar in a saucepan along with a handful of lemon verbena leaves. Simmer on low heat until the sugar dissolves. Allow it to cool before straining out the leaves.
  2. In a Mocktail shaker filled with ice, add the prepared syrup, fresh lemon juice, and torn lemon verbena leaves. Shake vigorously for about 10 seconds.
  3. Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice. Slowly pour in sparkling non-alcoholic grape juice or sparkling water and top with soda water.
  4. Stir gently and garnish with a slice of lemon and a sprig of lemon verbena.
