- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms (shiitake or cremini)
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 4 green onions, sliced
- 1/4 cup bamboo shoots, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 Mandarin pancakes or flour tortillas
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and vegetarian oyster sauce; set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken in a single layer and cook for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté garlic and ginger in the same skillet until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Add cabbage, mushrooms, carrots, green onions, and bamboo shoots; stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return chicken to the skillet and pour the sauce mixture over everything; stir well for another minute or two.
- Drizzle sesame oil on top; season with salt and pepper before serving.
